Britain’s Jamie Chadwick is off to a hot start in her bid for a third W Series title, winning the first two races of the season in Miami.

On Saturday, she overtook Finland’s Emma Kimilainen in the last lap to take the checkered flag. Kimilainen then collided with Marta Garcia of Spain, who ultimately finished second. Fellow Brit Jessica Hawkins took third.
“That was a bizarre race, I don’t know what happened but we will take that,” said Chadwick.
Chadwick then took the pole for Sunday’s race, taking the win. Nerea Martí, who took the pole for the first race, finished second while Alice Powell finished in third after crashing out on Saturday in the first lap.
