San Diego Wave FC will have the first pick in the 2022 NWSL College Draft after winning a coin toss with fellow expansion team Angel City FC.
San Diego will have the No. 1 selection in Rounds 1 and 3, while Angel City FC will get the first pick in the NWSL Expansion Draft.

The 2022 NWSL Expansion Draft is set for Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. ET, followed by the NWSL Draft on Dec. 18 at 2 p.m. ET. Both will be streamed on Paramount+.
