They might not be in Tokyo, but Abby Dahlkemper and Megan Rapinoe are setting the stage themselves.
Being that the U.S. Women’s National Team is set to face off against New Zealand in Saitama on Saturday, July 24 the team is not currently in Tokyo, where the Opening Ceremonies are being held.
But that didn’t stop the two players from holding their own opening ceremony.

Rapinoe imitated her partner, and US Olympic flag bearer, Sue Bird while lights were flashing before the two struck a pose.
The USWNT is set to kick off against New Zealand at 7:30 a.m. on NBCSN.
