Aliyah Boston has arrived in Indiana before WNBA training camp begins Sunday.
The Fever documented the No. 1 overall pick’s arrival in Indianapolis over the weekend, with Boston being greeted by teammates and coaches alike. Through it all, she sported blue braids, an homage to her new team.

“This is awesome. Just look at her standing there like she’s finally here, and just, walking with her and talking with her, just an incredible human being,” head coach Christie Sides said. “We did knock this one out of the park for sure.”
Boston was welcomed to the city with her own billboard, which she dubbed “so cool.”

For Boston, the arrival in Indianapolis made her entire journey finally start to sink in: Soon, she’ll be playing in the WNBA.
“Coming over to Indy, two plane rides, I was just thinking that this is getting real,” she said. “This is crazy. I’m just super excited to be here.
“I was texting my mom and she was like, ‘You know, you’re on your way to your new home. God has blessed you. Blessed this family.’ And so that’s just kind of been my mindset.”
