Aliyah Boston is officially an Adidas athlete.
The No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA draft, the Indiana Fever signed her first major deal since graduating college with the shoe brand.

“We are beyond excited to welcome Aliyah to our Adidas Basketball family. She exudes strength, resilience, versatility and natural skill that is unmatched,” said Eric Wise, Adidas’ global general manager of basketball. “I know she’ll leave a lasting impact on the future of the game and we are proud to be a part of this moment and support her on her journey to greatness.”
She joins Candace Parker as an Adidas athlete, as well as Kahleah Copper, Chelsea Gray, and Nneka Ogwumike.
During her college career, she signed an NIL deal with Under Armour, the same brand that sponsored South Carolina athletics. But clauses in the contract specified that the agreement did not carry over into Boston’s professional career, ESPN reported.
“Adidas is a brand that continues to grow the game and empowers their athletes on and off the court,” Boston said. “I’m super excited to continue to evolve into the best woman and athlete I can be while dominating on the court and being a role model alongside an incredible roster of hoopers. It’s truly a blessing.”
Boston celebrated the deal with a Twitter post, writing that “hard work pays off!”
