Allyson Felix and Jordan Larson were both named the Sportswomen of the Year by the Women’s Sports Foundation on Wednesday evening.
Both athletes won gold in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, with Felix surpassing Carl Lewis as the most decorated American in track and field history, amassing 11 Olympic medals. Larson captured gold with the U.S. women’s volleyball team, a redemptive run after finishing with a bronze medal in Rio in 2016.
From advocating for mom-athletes to dominating on the world stage with a total of 11 Olympic medals, we’re proud to announce @allysonfelix as this year’s Individual Sportswoman of the Year!
