Top transfer Aneesah Morrow has narrowed down her list to LSU, South Carolina and Southern California, she announced Friday.

Morrow, who starred for two seasons at DePaul in Chicago, entered the transfer portal on April 5 after averaging 25.7 points (fourth in D-1) and 12.2 rebounds (seventh in D-1) this season. According to the sophomore, 33 different schools had contacted her, among them Iowa, Maryland and Notre Dame.

But she has opted to go with the last two NCAA champions and sunny Southern California as her possible destinations.

Whatever program she chooses will instantly be impacted by Morrow, who was one of the best offensive players in the country in 2022-23. At South Carolina, she could help replace Aliyah Boston and Zia Cooke while working alongside Kamilla Cardoso and Raven Johnson.

LSU is another intriguing choice, as the Tigers return many key pieces of their championship team – including Angel Reese and Flau’jae Johnson. But former Louisville star Hailey Van Lith is also considering the Tigers, which could make for a crowded lineup.
