Hammon remains the franchise career leader in assists (1,333), made three-pointers (498) and free throw percentage (92.1 percent). Additionally, she ranks second in points (3,474) and scoring average (15.6).
Recently named to the league’s ‘W25,’ the former point guard thanked the Aces during the ceremony.
“It’s one of the biggest honors as an athlete that you can have,” she said. “You never know when you show up everyday and go to work.
“I had no idea. I was undrafted, played 16 years, and I wasn’t supposed to be here but here I am.”

Hammon currently coaches as an assistant for the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA.
