Saturday night’s game between the Seattle Storm and the Dallas Wings was everything fans hoped it would be.
The Wings led for most of the game, but the Storm forced overtime on a Jordin Canada floater and toughed out a 100-97 win.
Breanna Stewart led the way for Seattle with 36 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks. Her performance gave her 2,500 points for her career, making her the fastest player in WNBA history to reach both 2,500 points and 1,000 rebounds.

Arike Ogunbowale led the scoring effort for the Wings with 28 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Marina Mabrey added a career-high 26 points to go along with eight rebounds. Kayla Thornton and Isabelle Harrison also recorded their first double-doubles of the season.
Dallas, the youngest team in the league, played well enough to win Saturday night. Their ability to hang tough against the reigning league champions certainly bodes well for their future.
