Indiana Fever players Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell both landed Associated Press All-WNBA First Team honors over the weekend. The selections make Indiana the only franchise with two first-team guards this season. It also marks the second nod for each as Clark was named in 2024, and Mitchell earned her nod in 2025.
Clark and Mitchell's Historic Year Translates to AP All-WNBA First Team Awards
Along with All-WNBA First Team, Clark took home AP Comeback Player of the Year, after a 2025 season limited to just 13 games. In her return, she put up 22.3 points and dished 8.3 assists per game. She reached the 30-point, 10-assist mark five times, too, notching a new league record.
Mitchell, meanwhile, turned in one of the best scoring campaigns in league history to grab her latest WNBA award. She averaged a league-runner-up 24.7 points per game and hit 20-plus in 27 consecutive outings. She also set single-season records for total points and three-pointers made.
That production only grew when Clark and Mitchell shared the floor. As a pair, the two guards averaged a combined 47 points — more than any backcourt duo in WNBA history. These WNBA awards cap a year that proved the Fever pairing is among the best the league has seen.
