Cameron Brink remains undecided about whether to turn pro.
The Stanford star has another year of college eligibility thanks to Covid-19, but says she doesn’t know whether she’ll take it or declare for the WNBA draft.
After Stanford clinched the Pac-12 regular-season title on Sunday, fans in attendance began to chant “one more year” at the star.
“So, I’m sure all of you are wondering, as far as my decision goes to stay next year or enter the draft, I’m still undecided,” Brink said during a post-game celebration.

Brink is expected to be a lottery pick in the 2024 WNBA draft should she decide to turn pro after this season. The reigning Women’s Basketball Coach’s Association Defensive Player of the Year and two-time reigning Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year, she has averaged 17.8 points and 11.4 rebounds per game this season, as well as 3.6 blocks per game. All are career highs.
Already, other star players with extra eligibility like UConn’s Paige Bueckers have opted to return for another season. The decision isn’t entirely surprising, as Bueckers has missed the large part of the last two years with injuries. That isn’t the case for Brink, who helped lead Stanford to a national championship her freshman season.
Other notable players like Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark have yet to announce their decisions.
