Allie Quigley hit a game-high 27 points for the Sky, shooting 77.8 percent from deep. However, her offensive presence wasn’t enough to hold off the Wings down the stretch.
To make matters worse for Chicago, Candace Parker left the game in the third quarter after a hard fall. Parker could be seen icing her ankle on the bench after emerging from the locker room in the fourth quarter.
Following the game, Sky coach James Wade told reporters that Parker had injured the same ankle that she sprained at the beginning of the season, “but it’s not as bad.”
“We’re going to evaluate it over the next couple of days and we’ll see how it responds,” added Wade.
Next up: The Dallas wings will face-off against the Indiana Fever on Friday. The Sky will host the Minnesota Lynx on Saturday.
