Chicago Red Stars midfielder Danielle Colaprico is joining the chorus of criticism of the NWSL’s referees.
Colaprico was one of two Red Stars players who went down with an injury in Sunday night’s game against the Orlando Pride following a misplaced tackle. She later quote-tweeted a GIF of the play, saying that there is “no place for this in our league.”

Colaprico also cited another seemingly missed foul on Rachel Hill earlier in the game. “Should I keep going?” she wrote on Twitter.

Colaprico’s sentiments echo those of Red Stars coach Rory Dames, who again lashed out at NWSL referees on Sunday over aggressive tackles that he says “have no place in the league.”
