Coco Gauff has a new sponsorship in her player box heading into the season's last Grand Slam. The world No. 4 signed a long-term deal with smart ring company ŌURA, the brand announced Wednesday. Fellow US star Taylor Fritz also came aboard in the same launch.
The timing of the partnership is key.
How Coco Gauff Will Use ŌURA Ring Data During the US Open
2026 US Open main-draw play begins August 30th in New York, and Gauff will wear the latest Ōura Ring 5 throughout the tournament to track sleep, recovery, and readiness between matches.
For her, the pitch was less about the data itself and more about tuning in to her body across a compressed WTA schedule.
"People see the results, but they don't see everything that goes into being ready to compete at this level, week after week," Gauff said in the release.
"Staying composed under pressure isn't something that just happens on the court — it starts with how well I understand my own body, especially during a long tournament when there's so little time to recover between matches."
That message anchors an integrated sponsorship campaign rolling out this week. Gauff's spot was filmed at Atlantic Community High School, her family's alma mater. She said she plans on using data from the ring to inform how she trains and recovers during US Open play this year.
