The Connecticut Sun are now without coach Curt Miller.

The team issued a statement on Tuesday, saying that Miller had traveled home to Pennsylvania to tend to a family medical issue and be with his family.

There is no timetable set for his return. In Miller’s absence, assistant coach Brandi Poole has been named acting head coach.

Coming off an 89-66 loss at home to Seattle, the Sun are also without star player Konquel Jones, who left the team last week to play for Bosnia-Herzegovina in the women’s Eurobasket tournament running through June 27.

Next up on the schedule includes consecutive games in Chicago against the Sky on Thursday and Saturday before returning home for next week’s game against Dallas.
