Her family met her at center court, including Taylor, already enshrined in the Ring. The ceremony came at halftime of an 88-85 loss to the Portland Fire.
Taurasi spent her entire 20-year WNBA career with the Phoenix Mercury before retiring in February 2025. Along the way, she captured three championships, two Finals MVPs, and 2009 WNBA MVP.
She also earned 11 All-Star selections and five scoring titles. Most notably, she walked away as the league's all-time leading scorer with 10,646 points.

The tribute stretched across the whole weekend. Phoenix renamed a street "10646 Taurasi Way" after her record, unveiled a mural outside the arena, and had her cut the ribbon at a set of refurbished outdoor courts. Michael Phelps, Sheryl Swoopes, Larry Fitzgerald, Devin Booker, and former teammate Brittney Griner filled the arena on Sunday.
Taurasi spoke for roughly 30 minutes after the game's final buzzer. Most of the crowd stayed behind to see her accept the honor.
"This place made me who I am," she told fans. "You let me grow, you let me fall. You let me get back up and you gave me the space to become who I am today."
