Goals from Ebony Salmon, Yuki Nagasato and Savannah McCaskill helped power Racing Louisville past the Red Stars in a rain-soaked Saturday matchup in Chicago.
Salmon opened up scoring for Louisville in the 38th minute, one-timing a pull back from Cece Kizer past Alyssa Naeher to put her side up 1-0. The English striker has made a statement in her early NWSL career, scoring in each of her first two outings with Racing Louisville.

Yuki Nagasato doubled Louisville’s lead ten minutes into the second half, getting on the end of a failed Chicago clearance in the box. Nagasato’s finish against her former team put Racing up 2-0.

McCaskill added her name to the score sheet in the 62nd minute, volleying in a deflected, lofted ball in the box to extend Louisville’s lead to 3-0.
