Gabby Williams reached 2,000 career points in Tuesday night's Tempo vs Valkyries win. The two-time All-Star drove through the paint for a layup with 1:34 left, pushing the Golden State Valkyries past the Toronto Tempo 92-81 at Chase Center.

The milestone caps a career that started with back-to-back NCAA titles at UConn.
Williams went fourth overall to the Chicago Sky in the 2018 draft, then spent time with the Seattle Storm before signing a multi-year deal with Golden State in April.
And she's thrived ever since.
In her first season with the Valkyries, Williams is averaging a career-high in points and earned the franchise's first-ever All-Star starter. She also earned All-Defensive First Team honors last season and continues to anchor Golden State on both ends.
Tuesday's Tempo vs Valkyries matchup tested her side early, though.
Golden State Sweeps Regular-Season Series with Toronto
Golden State trailed by 13 in the second quarter before ripping off a 15-4 run to pull within one at the half.
The Valkyries outscored Toronto 51-39 after the break. Janelle Salaün led the way off the bench with 21 points, while starter Kayla Thornton added a season-high 20.
The win helped the Valkyries sweep the season series while moving Golden State to 21-9 on the season.
