LSU’s loss to Mississippi State on Monday didn’t come without its viral moments.
Among them is Hailey Van Lith’s reaction during a team timeout. The graduate transfer was visibly confused when head coach Kim Mulkey was drawing up plays for the Tigers. At the time, the team trailed by six points with 37 seconds left in the game.

“HVL has no idea what’s being drawn on that clipboard,” one user wrote on X. As the video continues, and the team exits the huddle, Van Lith can be seen attempting to get clarification.
A comeback was not in the cards for the Tigers. LSU lost 77-73, marking the team’s second-straight loss and third in their five games.
It’s not the first time this season that Van Lith has gone viral for reactions. Against South Carolina, a moment between Van Lith and Angel Reese drew comparisons to a viral pep talk that Draymond Greene gave Kevin Durant in 2017.
