Jonquel Jones is having a season to remember.
The Connecticut forward recorded her tenth double-double of the regular season in the Sun’s 71-54 win over the Liberty on Sunday.
Jones led Connecticut with 17 points to go along with 17 rebounds, five assists and two steals in the win, the Sun’s sixth in their last seven games.

Connecticut held New York to just 54 points, the fewest by a WNBA team this season. The Mystics had the previous season low, having scored 56 points in a loss to the Sky in May.
With Sunday’s win, the Sun improve to 14-6 on the season. The Liberty fall below .500 (10-11) heading into the Olympic break.
Next up: Connecticut will take on the Storm in the inaugural Commissioner’s Cup before meeting the Wings in a return to regular season play on Aug. 15. The Liberty will travel to Minnesota to face the Lynx on Aug. 15.
