Kansas City Current’s rebrand includes local beer partnership

Kansas City’s rebrand to the Kansas City Current is bringing with it a plethora of new partnership opportunities, including a partnership with Boulevard Brewing, a local brewery.

As part of the partnership, a limited edition pilsner called “Teal Rising” will be distributed by Boulevard. The cans will feature the new KC Current crest and color scheme.

In alignment with the Current, 10 percent of all proceeds from sales of the beer will go to WIN for KC.

According to a release, WIN for KC’s mission “is to empower the lives of girls and women through advocating and promoting the lifetime value of sports and fitness.” Additionally, the initiative provides opportunities for participation and leadership development.

The pilsner will be available for purchase from Boulevard’s Tours & Rec Center Beer Hall beginning on Monday.
