Team USA fought off some determined challengers to notch two victories on Sunday’s Day 2 of the women’s 3×3 tournament.
The WNBA-studded team took on Romania, and Kelsey Plum alone outscored her opponents, with 12 points to lead the Americans to a comfortable 22-11 win.
Overshadowed by teammates Allisha Gray and Stefanie Dolson on opening day, Plum, a Las Vegas Aces star, was in attack mode from the start.
Plum finished the win with a perfect 7-of-7 from inside the arc and also sunk a couple of two pieces.
