Both Arsenal and Manchester City advanced in the FA Cup after a pair of dominant wins Sunday.

The Gunners downed Liverpool 4-0 to seal their spot in the quarterfinals.

Caitlin Foord opened up the scoring, finding the back of the net via an Arsenal deflection. Katie McCabe added to Arsenal’s lead, unleashing a must-see volley from the top of the box to go up 2-0.

Foord continued to cause problems for Liverpool, slotting in a half volley to put Arsenal ahead 3-0 at the half.

Arsenal’s dominance continued in the second half, with Kim Little scoring the Gunners’ fourth to put the game out of reach for Liverpool.

Manchester City also booked their ticket to the FA Cup quarterfinals, clinching a come-from-behind win over Manchester United.

United took the lead in the first half, with Katie Zelem scoring the lone goal of the opening 45 minutes.

A flurry of second-half goals, however, switched the momentum of the game in favor of Manchester City. The team’s equalizer came early in the second half with a cross from Haley Raso meeting Lauren Hemp, who found the back of the net to level the game.

A trio of goals from Ellen White, Caroline Weir and Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw extended Manchester City’s lead, securing the FA Cup victory.

The quarterfinal round is scheduled for March 20.
