Collier first announced her pregnancy in November, revealing that she would miss the start of the 2022 WNBA season. The 25-year-old has said she hopes to return at some point during the team’s campaign, which marks Sylvia Fowles’ last with Minnesota.
In early May, Collier signed a multi-year contract extension with the Lynx, keeping her in Minnesota for the foreseeable future.
Without Collier, the Lynx have gotten off to a slow start, posting a 2-6 record to kick off the season.
