Nadia Nadim opened her scoring account with Racing Louisville, nodding in a cross from Savannah McCaskill to lead the team to a 3-1 win over Kansas City on Sunday.
Nadim signed with Louisville in June after leaving her former club, Paris Saint-Germain.

Ebony Salmon and Cheyna Matthews each contributed goals for Racing Louisville, as well. Salmon got on the end of a cross from Savannah McCaskill following an impressive build-up play to put Louisville up 1-0 in the 43rd minute.

Matthews capped a dominant offensive performance from Louisville on Sunday, picking off a Kansas City pass and beating the goalkeeper in the 86th minute to take a 3-1 lead.

Racing Louisville goalkeeper Michelle Betos mitigated the damage on the other side to help her team secure the win. Betos notched eight saves and leads all NWSL keepers with 66 saves this season.
Next up: Kansas City will host OL Reign on Saturday. Racing Louisville will face Gotham FC on Sunday.
