Nelly Korda wants to win the final major of 2026. But she wouldn't mind losing to Charley Hull, either.
Ahead of the 2026 AIG Women's Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes, Korda praised the English golfer's relentless consistency in majors as both look to climb the LPGA leaderboard in England this weekend.

Hull has finished runner-up five times without a breakthrough, including twice at the AIG Women's Open. Still, Korda sees that persistence as a positive sign.
"She's doing something right to always be there, be relevant and be in the hunt," Korda said. "I think it would be great for the game of golf."

Meanwhile, Korda enters the tournament chasing history of her own.
She's already won the Chevron Championship and the US Women's Open this season. A third major would make her the first woman since Inbee Park in 2013 to claim three in a calendar year. It would also lock in her Hall of Fame spot while delivering the one major title she's never won.
The world No. 1 recently snapped a 34-event cut streak at Evian. Yet she brushed off the blip. With both players expected near the top of the LPGA leaderboard, the AIG Women's Open promises one of the year's best matchups.
