LPGA superstar Nelly Korda is stacking trophies. The world No. 1 locked up her second Rolex Player of the Year award with 239 points and two events left this season.
The four-time major winner opened with six winning or runner-up finishes. She built a lead she never dropped despite skipping the 2026 Asian swing.
The race wrapped early after injured Haeran Ryu (176 points) withdrew from the Maybank Championship. Meanwhile, Miyu Yamashita (156 points) and Jeeno Thitikul (155 points) pulled out of next week’s The Annika 2026, putting the LPGA’s Player of the Year award out of reach.
The award subsequently gives the US standout her 27th LPGA Hall of Fame point. She now sits just one win away from securing the sport’s biggest honor.
“I think it’s an amazing accomplishment,” Korda said of her HOF prospects. “It would be one of the best achievements of my career for sure.”
