No. 11 UConn returned to the court for the first time since Dec. 19, defeating Creighton 63-55 in a Big East matchup on Sunday.
Freshman guard Caroline Ducharme led the charge for the Huskies, notching 17 points, five rebounds, three blocks, two assists and two steals. Senior guard Christyn Williams added 13 points and five rebounds, while graduate transfer Dorka Juhász contributed 10 points.

UConn sophomore Nika Mühl came in off the bench, playing in her first game since Dec. 5 after recovering from a foot injury. The guard finished the game with two points and two rebounds.
Only seven Huskies dressed for Sunday’s game, with stars Azzi Fudd and Paige Bueckers still sidelined with injuries. As a team, UConn missed three weeks of competition after having four consecutive games postponed due to COVID-19.
