The NWSL Challenge Cup returns to action Thursday following the international window, with some teams looking to get back on track and some still looking for their first win while others will aim to stay the course.
Group A Standings:
The North Carolina Courage are the only team to outright lead their group, having earned eight points off two wins and two draws through four matches. They lead the Washington Spirit, who sit second in Group A with six points from one win and three draws.

Group B Standings:
OL Reign and Portland Thorns FC are tied for first in Group B with seven points, although Reign have played one less match. Angel City sits at the bottom of the group, still looking for its first win as a NWSL team.

Group C Standings
The Chicago Red Stars and Kansas City Current are also tied atop their group standings, each having played four games apiece, winning two while losing and drawing one. As of right now, Chicago leads on goal differential, having scored three more goals than its opponents to Kansas City’s one.

Friday’s matchup between Kansas City and Houston will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network at 8 p.m. On Sunday, the match between OL Reign and ACFC will take place on the network at 6 p.m.
All other Challenge Cup matches will air on Paramount+, starting with Thursday’s match between the San Diego Wave and OL Reign at 10 p.m. ET to kick off the weekend.
