Alex Morgan is the 2022 NWSL Golden Boot winner.
Her 15 goals came three short of the record for most goals in a single season, set by Australian star Sam Kerr, who recorded 18 goals in her 2019 Chicago Red Stars season.

Her four-goal stampede
Morgan began her campaign in historic fashion, scoring four goals in a single match during the San Diego Wave’s May home opener. She became just the third NWSL player to do so.

A trio of braces
The striker had a total of three braces this season, tying for second in the league in 2022. Two of those braces came in June, including a three-point performance in the team’s June 19th game against NJ/NY Gotham FC.

Her 50th goal
After joining the league in 2013, Morgan spent time with the Portland Thorns and Orlando Pride before landing in her home state of California.
During an August match against Houston Dash, Morgan scored her 50th NWSL goal. she became the fifth player in league history to achieve the milestone.
