Ons Jabeur clinched her third career title in Berlin on Sunday, winning the bett1open after Belinda Bencic was forced to retire due to injury.
Suffering an ankle injury at the end of the first set, Bencic left the court after trailing Jabeur 6-3, 2-1.

With the win, Jabeur is expected to reach a new career-high ranking of World No. 3 on Monday, advancing to the finals in four of her last six competitions.
Jabeur is the only other player aside from World No. 1 Iga Swiatek to win multiple titles this season. The Tunisian star’s bett1open trophy joins her Madrid championship from May.
The grass-court victory comes in the run-up to Wimbledon, which will kick off on June 27. Before Jabeur takes the court at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, however, she will team up with Serena Williams in the doubles draw at the Eastbourne International, a critical Wimbledon tune-up.
