The Orlando Pride have tabbed Jarrod Dillon as the team’s next president of business operations.
Dillon will also oversee operations for Orlando City, the Pride’s MLS affiliate. The move comes one day after the team parted ways with executive vice president Amanda Duffy.

“We are excited to welcome Jarrod and his family to Orlando and to the Orlando City and Orlando Pride organization,” Club Chairman Mark Wilf said in a release. “Jarrod brings a great breadth of sports business experience and he will be a strong leader for all of us. He embraces the importance of immersing himself in our community, creating a world class fan experience, and creating positive relationships within our organization, as well as with our supporters, fans, civic leaders and business partners.”
For the past six years, Dillon has served as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing as well as Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer at Vinik Sports Group, spearheading the revenue strategies for all VSG properties including the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Dillon has also worked with the San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants of MLB and the Oakland Raiders of the NFL.

Dillon is set to join the club in January.
