With just days to go until the start of the NWSL season, Racing Louisville FC unveiled their home and away jerseys for their inaugural season on Thursday.

Their home kit is midnight violet, featuring a play on the fleur de lis, or “lily flower,” in bloom. Speckled with butterflies and bees, the home kit is an ode to Louisville native Muhammed Ali. Additionally, the white away kit sticks with the traditional fleur de lis symbol in lavender, the team’s primary color.

The jerseys were designed by Matthew Wolff, who also designed the team’s crest and colors.

“We are thrilled to be revealing the inaugural Racing Louisville FC kits to the world,” said club president Brad Estes in the team’s press release. “Collaborating with Matthew was an awesome experience from beginning to end. From the home top with beautiful lilies and a nod to Ali, to the clean and classic away shirt, these are true works of art.”

We’re thrilled too. Although this drop, combined with the WNBA jersey release today, has left our wallets considerably smaller than they were this morning.
