Ryann O’Toole captures first LPGA title with Scottish Open win

After 228 starts and 11 years on tour, Ryann O’Toole has earned her first LPGA title, winning the Trust Golf Women’s Scottish Open on Sunday.

The American finished 17 under, three strokes ahead of Lydia Ko and Atthaya Thitikul.

Eight total birdies helped propel O’Toole to the top of the leaderboard, breaking a three-way tie heading into the final day of the tournament.

“I still think I am in shock,” said O’Toole after the win. “For this moment, I hope that it only happens again and again.”
