Sabrina Ionescu is on a tear, with the Liberty star nearly hitting her second triple-double of the season Friday.

The Liberty guard notched 21 points, nine rebounds and eight assists to help her side to an 89-77 win over the Atlanta Dream.

Friday followed up an impressive performance from Ionescu on Wednesday, in which she logged 11 points, 11 rebounds and six assists to clinch a critical away victory in Connecticut.

Since recording her second career triple-double on June 12, Ionescu has come close to following up the feat more than once. She fell just two rebounds shy of the landmark in the Liberty’s Sunday matchup against the Storm.

At 24 years old, Ionescu is the youngest WNBA player to record a second career triple-double and looks poised to add at least a third by the end of the 2022 campaign.

If she does, she’ll become just the second WNBA player to have two triple-doubles in a season and to reach three career triple-doubles — joining Candace Parker, who secured her second in May and her third Thursday.
