Skylar Diggins-Smith makes WNBA history in Mercury loss

Skylar Diggins-Smith had a record-breaking showing in Phoenix’s 99-68 loss to the Lynx on Saturday night.

With her third assist of the game, Diggins-Smith became the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 3,000 career points, 1,000 assists and 200 steals.

The Mercury guard is currently averaging 18.3 points and 5.1 assists per game this season, shooting 42.2 percent from the field.
