South Carolina women’s basketball players Raven Johnson and Chloe Kitts reunited a family with their lost dog on Saturday.
Gamecocks head coach Dawn Staley took to Twitter to help the players find the dog’s owners.

“My little babies @chloe1kitts and @HollywoodRaven found this cute girl near Rosewood,” Staley wrote, tagging the local sheriff’s department and a local reporter in the post. “Please help us found her home.”
The duo took the dog for a bath at a local pet store as they searched for her family.
“They don’t want to take her to a pound so they currently have a phone number to call a fur baby angel to help,” Staley wrote. “Thank you all for your concerns for the lost cutie.”

Two hours later, Staley shared the happy ending to the story. The dog, named Lily Mae, had been reunited with her owners thanks to a Facebook post.
“The REUNION! Lily Mae is back with her rightful owners!” she wrote. “Our @GamecockWBB family grew for just a few hours.”
