Washington Spirit forward Trinity Rodman has been named the 2021 NWSL Rookie of the Year, presented by Ally.
The youngest player to be drafted in the NWSL, Rodman had a standout rookie campaign, scoring six goals (including two game-winners) and recording six assists. In addition to the points, Rodman also created 35 scoring opportunities, finishing with 29 shots on target.

During the 2021 Challenge Cup, Rodman became the youngest American player to score a goal in their NWSL debut, when she got on the scoreboard in a 3-2 loss to the North Carolina Courage.
As part of the honor, Rodman will receive a cash bonus from Ally.
Racing Louisville FC defender Emily Fox came in second in voting, while Kansas City Current midfielder Victoria Pickett finished third.
