Stefanie Dolson, Allisha Gray, Kelsey Plum and Katie Lou Samuelson will represent the U.S. in the inaugural women’s three-on-three basketball tournament at the Tokyo Olympics.
All four were on the team that played in the qualifying games and earned the U.S. one of the eight spots.
Duke women’s basketball coach Kara Lawson will oversee the team, having served as their coach and advisor since 2017. While three-on-three rules do not permit in-game coaching, Lawson will guide the team during practices and in preparation for the tournament.
The Olympic 3×3 basketball competition is set to begin play Saturday, July 24 at Aomi Urban Sports Park in Tokyo.
