Tina Charles is on a tear.
The Washington center dropped a staggering 34 points and 17 rebounds in the Mystics’ 89-85 overtime win over Chicago.
Saturday’s game marks Charles’ eighth 30-point game of the season, tying Diana Taurasi (2010, 2006) and Cynthia Cooper-Dyke (1997) for the fourth-most 30-point games in a single season. Charles’ 34-point performance was her seventh consecutive 25-point game, the longest streak in WNBA history.
