The second leg of the UEFA Women’s Champions League quarterfinals begins today, with two teams looking to book a spot in the semifinals.
Barcelona will take on Real Madrid at 12:45 p.m. ET. The defending Champions League winner currently holds a 3-1 aggregate lead in the series.
It’ll be a big night for the hosts, who have sold 85,000 tickets to the game. It’s the first Barcelona women’s game at Camp Nou in the team’s history that will be played in front of fans.
“We are all so excited to see you and play in front of you at Camp Nou,” said Fridolina Rolfo in a statement on social media. “Everyone who dreams of playing football at the highest level will tell you they picture playing in front of the big crowds, the sea of color, hearing the chants and the noise and the emotion in the big stadiums.
“I already know it will be a really special day that will stay with me forever.”
