WNBA sees midseason boost in ratings

The WNBA’s ratings are on the rise once again.

According to ESPN, through 16 games viewership is up 44 percent over 2020’s numbers. That’s an increase over the 28 percent through the first four games of the season. The numbers are further evidence of positive trends in the WNBA when looking at the fact that the 2020 season saw a 68 percent increase in regular-season viewership.

Additionally, Sunday’s Las Vegas Aces and Dallas Wings game on ABC averaged 643,000 viewers, the most-watched regular season game since 2012.
