Jonquel Jones hit a clutch three in the fourth quarter to tie the game. Jones also had a night, securing the double-double with 18 points, 14 rebounds and four assists. From there, Team WNBA would take a 75-71 lead and never look back.
But Team USA didn’t go quietly. Ariel Atkins hit a clutch three to cut the lead to five before Ogunbowale once again sank a three-pointer to extend Team WNBA’s lead.

The highly-anticipated matchup between Team USA and Team WNBA delivered. At halftime, Tina Charles called it “one of the better All-Star Games I’ve been a part of.” Afterwards, Commissioner Cathy Engelbert said she’d never seen so much defense played in an All-Star game.
Team USA will finish off the weekend playing against Australia on Friday at 2:30 p.m. before taking on Nigeria Sunday at 5:30pm. All times ET, with both games being televised on NBCSN.
