USWNT defender Becky Sauerbrunn made her 200th cap in a draw with the Czech Republic during the team’s opening game of the SheBelieves Cup. She’s just the 12th player in USWNT history to do so.
Starting the game on the bench, Sauerbrunn was substituted on during the 72nd minute.
After the game, she was presented with a jersey to commemorate the accomplishment.
Simply the best 🐐

In her time with the national team, Sauerbrunn has won two World Cup titles, an Olympic gold medal, and an Olympic bronze medal. With 200 appearances, she is just three away from breaking the record for most games played without scoring a goal. The record is currently held by former goalkeeper Hope Solo, who went 202 games without scoring a goal.
Alex Morgan, who with 190 appearances is closing in on 200 caps of her own, called it “incredible.”
