Fan voting for the WNBA All-Star game starters opens Friday, with fans able to submit their choices for who they want to see in Chicago on July 10.

This year marks the defending WNBA champion Chicago Sky’s first time hosting the All-Star festivities.

Each fan can submit one ballot per day via WNBA.com and the WNBA App. Each fan can also vote up to 10 times per day via Twitter. All WNBA players currently on a roster are available for selection.

On June 14 and 18, fans will have the opportunity to have their votes count twice.

A total of four guards and six frontcourt players will be named starters for the All-Star game based on a combination of fan votes (50 percent), player votes (25 percent) and media votes (25 percent).

The two starters who receive the most fan votes will be named captains for the All-Star game. Each captain will draft their rosters from the pool of starters and then a pool of 12 reserves selected by league head coaches.

Fans can tune in to the WNBA All-Star Team Selection Special on Saturday, July 2, at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN.
