The WNBA announced its broadcast schedule Wednesday, with a total of 148 regular season games to be broadcast across the league’s portfolio of networks.
In addition to the games previously announced to air on ABC, ESPN and ESPN2, CBS Sports will carry 40 regular season games across its networks. In its 20th season of WNBA coverage, NBA TV will air 46 games.
Once again the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup Championship will air on Amazon Prime Video.
“Our continued goal is to deliver as many WNBA games and as much content to our passionate fans and supporters across platforms that best match the evolution of content consumption,” said WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert. “Providing significant opportunities to view WNBA games across traditional as well as streaming platforms drives additional coverage to our growing fan base.”
CBS Sports, in its fourth year of WNBA coverage, has added games on Paramount+ this season. Coverage will begin on Sunday, June 19 with a meeting between the Washington Mystics and the Connecticut Sun.
In addition to the Commissioner’s Cup, Prime Video will stream 16 regular season games exclusively, beginning Sunday, May 8.
