Those wanting to witness history may have to pay a hefty price to do so.
Caitlin Clark is set to break the NCAA women’s scoring record at home on Thursday against Michigan, and tickets to get into Carver-Hawkeye Arena aren’t cheap.
Clark currently sits at 3,520 points – just seven behind Kelsey Plum, who set the record at Washington in 2017 – and needs eight points to break the record.
Ticket prices for Thursday’s game have since skyrocketed – up from the already-expensive get-in price for Iowa’s regular season.
As of Tuesday morning, the cheapest tickets listed on StubHub were $334. Remaining courtside tickets are going for $10,406 apiece.
It makes the game the second-most expensive women’s basketball game of all-time, college or WNBA, according to TickPick.
Clark and Iowa will be hoping to bounce-back from a 82-79 loss against Nebraska, when Clark was held scoreless in the fourth quarter for the first time in her career.
