The Indiana Fever saw its WNBA playoffs positioning take a hit Sunday after a 93-77 loss to the Washington Mystics at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The home side trailed from start to finish in a Mystics vs Fever matchup that snapped Indiana's three-game winning streak and ended a four-game stretch of 100-point performances.

Much of the damage came in the first half, as Washington took control early.
The Mystics shot 56.9% from the field and hit 9-of-18 from deep against the Fever defense. Kiki Iriafen finished with 21 points and 14 rebounds for her eighth straight double-double. Meanwhile, Shakira Austin added 20 points, 10 boards, and five assists, while Sonia Citron chipped in 16 points and nine assists on the night.
Caitlin Clark led Indiana with 25 points and five assists, while MVP candidate Kelsey Mitchell scored 22. But nothing else clicked for the home team. The Fever's 77 total points marked their third-lowest output all season.
"It feels like we just couldn't throw it in the water," Clark said. "I'm not sure we'll ever shoot it poorly the rest of the year like that. We've had the best offense in the league all year. It just didn't feel like us."
