Brooke Biermann and Camille Boyd each carded 6-under 66 on Tuesday to top the 2026 LPGA Q-School leaderboard. Despite gusts sweeping the Florida course all day, both golfers stayed sharp as LPGA qualifying got underway with 198 players filling the field.
LPGA Q-School Leader Camille Boyd Leans on Pro Experience
Boyd, an LPGA rookie the 2026 Tour, drew on her experience to handle the unruly wind. Her best stretch came on the par-5 13th, where a 3-wood reached the green and nearly dropped for eagle.
"Out here I feel more confident that I belong," Boyd said of the tournament. "I can go out and play more freely."
Biermann, meanwhile, posted a bogey-free scorecard by embracing the tough conditions. The Michigan State product is fresh off her rookie Epson Tour season and said the downtime before the tournament paid off. She also welcomed the weather.
"The more difficult conditions are sometimes a little better for me," she said. "It makes me focus a little more."
The rest of the field followed closely behind. New Zealand standout Amelia Garvey came in at 5-under 67 in the early LPGA Q-School 2026 results as players vie for a Top 55 finish to punch their ticket to the final qualifying stage in Alabama.
