Candace Parker is back.

In her second outing since returning from injury, Parker helped propel Chicago to an 83-79 win over Indiana. Saturday marked the Sky’s second consecutive win after enduring a seven-game losing streak.

Parker recorded her first double-double of the regular season, putting up 20 points and collecting 14 rebounds. The veteran forward also contributed four assists and two steals to energize the Sky offense.

“Look, we lost seven in a row… and now we have an opportunity to get better,” said Parker in her post-game press conference, adding, “we have time to get better.”

Chicago struggled to shut down Teaira McCowan, who put up 20 points and 13 rebounds for Indiana. McCowan and the Fever kept the game close, tying things up with less than a minute to go. The Sky, however, kept their composure down the stretch. Back-to-back clutch shots from Allie Quigley helped put Chicago up four at the final buzzer.

The Sky will stay on the road to face off against the Lynx in Minnesota on Tuesday. Indiana will look to capture their second win of the season when they host the Storm on Tuesday.
